Simply Striped Shrug, crochet

This is the first one I made, using two balls of Anchor size 10 cotton thread, white with silver metallic. (I gave this one to my son's g.f.)

Then I had two balls of Anchor yellow thread, so I made another one:

I found me a young model too. She gets to keep the shrug ;)

I wanted a black shrug for myself. I didn't have size 10 black thread, so I used Cannon size 8 thread for this one:

Pattern now available on my googlepages, on Ravelry and on Etsy.

Etsy purchases

I got my goodies last Friday!
About 3-4 weeks ago I purchased these items from 3 different shops on Etsy. These are just small items which can all be classified as materials for crafts. Don't know exactly what to do with it, but I know they will be useful in time ;)
I love shopping on Etsy! So many cute little things that I can afford.
Not all Etsy sellers would ship international, so I would like to thank these shops for shipping to the Philippines :)

Some love songs...

Here's a sneak peek of my latest shrug design.
I've been working on another color (for someone who ordered it), but not ready yet with the pattern - I've been procrastinating...
Its the drawing of the diagram that's holding me up :p I think I need some inspiration, so for now I thought of sharing what I'm watching and listening to lately...

Progress on crochet and other stuff...

My latest shrug design is coming out soon. Yes, another shrug - I can't seem to move on to other wearable creations. The sleeve to sleeve construction and simple scheme of the shrug appeals so much to me, compared to a garment that will use up 3x more thread...

I also got a new model! She's my brother's g.f...she totally liked the shrug, so I gave it to her ;)

Meanwhile, I've made a little progress on my room makeover. The room is still a mess, but I've freed up some closet space, trashed old stuff, and set aside several items to give away. Its quite hard to get rid of many things...I just keep asking myself what is really important in my life right now.

I wasn't able to watch the Feel Harmonic concert at the Power Plant Mall last Wednesday...it was a success, according to my son. Hopefully I will be able to watch the video that his friend took.
Previously, I had posted my favorite song in the repertoire that evening - Nella Fantasia.
While I was on YouTube, I found out about a Spanish singer - Cesar Mesa. I absolutely love his version of Nella Fantasia!
I would like to share, in case you haven't heard, Cesar Mesa:
