What I've been crocheting lately...

I've not been crocheting much...but daydreaming a lot! Or maybe I'm just being lazy...Anyways, I do have some crochet happenings to look forward to and I thought you might be interested to know ;)

Two patterns I will soon be putting up for sale on Ravelry and Etsy:

Blooming Flower Motif Shrug - this is my original version of the Moth Wings Shrug published in Interweave Crochet Summer 2010 issue
V-neck Summer Top - this is the shortened version of the Shapely Tunic pattern which I designed for Coats Manila Bay.

Another crochet book published by Sixth and Spring publishing, is soon to arrive and I will let you know what I think of the book. And if you are interested in a book giveaway, I will be doing that too soon as I get my review copy ;)

I'm looking forward to wrap up the designs that will be published by Coats Manila Bay:
Cap-sleeve Cardigan
Lacey Shrug
Gray rectangular Shawl

  1. Nice to see you posting again! Congrats on the new pattern publications ~ they look awesome just like all your patterns are :) LOVE the new Blooming Flower Motif Shrug ... gorgeous in red! I must pick up a copy of the latest Interweave Crochet (summer edition) ~ congrats for your publication on that one too! Keep up the good work! It's been ages since I crocheted ~ must pick up my hook! Best Wishes, Fiona :)

  2. Love both Mimi!Looking forward to your new patterns too.Wishing you all the best for IC Spring 2012 issue

  3. Thank you Pearlin!! I hope I'll have some exciting updates soon :)

  4. You may not have been crocheting much, but I like what you've been up to! :-)

  5. They both look great! I just got my summer issue of Interweave Crochet, but haven't had a chance to really look at it yet. The shrug is very nice, I must see if I have that issue hanging around somewhere.

  6. LOVE them both. Especially the summer top. Beautiful.

JUST what my bulging books shelves need is another gorgeous crochet book. :)

  7. Long time ...I like that shrug and the top. Your work is lovely, as always, Mimi. Good luck on the submissions for IC Spring 2012.
