Fun Stuff
Lovely Gift
I saw this dishcloth called Garterlac on Vik's blog several weeks ago. It was a very interesting knitted piece and I would love to try it, but my knitting lessons would have to wait some more. I didnt know then that my friend Vik had made one for me, and sent it with hugs from Argentina, woohoo!
I now have it on my little kitchen :D It looks perfect, I love the colors. Thanks again, Vik!

Hi dear Mimi! I´m so happy that you liked it and that there´s something from me in your kitchen! ;)
ReplyDeleteWow! I like your picture! And it´s true, it´s a mix of all those faces!
Thank you Vik, dont we all wish we're 10 years younger?...hehe...
ReplyDeleteI'm still amazed what we could do online nowadays. All this technology plus our human efforts to reach out - made it possible for us to be part of each other's life even if we're thousands of miles apart...
Hi Mimi, Thanks for stopping by dun sa "bahay" ko kahit walang bago. Okey, have a good night and TC.
ReplyDeleteHey I like your picture there. On a closer look,it does look like a mix of all those faces. But you know what ,you are a celebrity in your own right this year with the pattern calender coming out!;)
ReplyDeleteYou have a very pretty kitchen Mimi!!!
Thanks so much Pearlin =) I'm lucky to have a scanner, I never thought years ago that I could share my old photos. As to the kitchen, I made sure that when I took a pic it looks neat and clean (but its really somewhat cluttered ;)
ReplyDeleteBtw, I'm so happy that I got into the calendar. I do hope with it I would be able to reach a wider audience for my crochet designs and items for sale.
Mimi, you already look like a celebrity!! Thanks for the link to the honey panta, I've been wanting to make one of these.
ReplyDeleteWow! You really are a mix of all of those faces! Yup, we all wish that we were ten years younger!
ReplyDeleteHow sweet of Vic to send you one of her dishcloths! Is it not a great pattern?
Sue, thanks for the compliment - its better than a facelift :D
ReplyDeleteKimberly, when I look at that photo of me, I wish the aging stopped there :p
Yes, Vik is so sweet to send me one of her special dishcloth. And it also reminds me of you, since you started the garterlac craze ;)
Oh, Mimi, the matches for you are pretty good....that is a very pretty picture of you also! Hey, you were lucky, over half of mine, when I did the eight picks were men!!!! UGH!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lucy! maybe you should try it too with a younger photo of yourself ;)
ReplyDeleteCelebrities that look like YOU! Now thats the way to sell it!!
ReplyDeleteHi Mi! just want to let you know that i'm still here. just reading and updating with what's happening around with everyone and your blog. i'm waiting for my schedule by the end of the month to leave for Korea. i've just posted in my blog.
ReplyDeleteThanks Pam and Fe for stopping by =)
ReplyDeleteWow! That is so cool, Mimi. I think you look a lot like all of them, too. I tried to do one, but my picture must have not been good enough, they said there weren't any matches. :(
ReplyDeleteYour knitted dishcloth from Vik is so cool! I might try one, if I can find some free time Ha Ha!
Thanks Tina! I was hoping I'd see your pic and look-alikes at your blog too ;)
