It has been windy and a little cold here these past few days and nights. I took out this cardigan in my craft closet and decided to wear it. Instead of feeling good about myself having designed and made this, I felt a bit sad.
I realized I have finished this almost a year ago and then...
Anyways, I like wearing this. I think its trendy, but appropriate for my age...anybody disagree?
Now for a WIP report. I found out about this shawl on Ravelry. It looks simple, yet sweet. I decided to make one for myself ;)
I think gold color (along with silver) are some of the trendy colors this year. I still have 4 more balls of Cannon MB859 to make the shawl. This is what I have after finishing one ball.
I love your cropped pullover cardigan! Age appropriate yes, layering is "in" and it looks great! Also love the color for your newest WIP shawl, very nice!
ReplyDeleteI think it is very appropriate, too; the way you have it layered looks very nice. And I like the progress on your shawl, too. I just dug out a spiderweb one I almost had done. (I haven't started trying to finish it, but...) :P
ReplyDeleteMimi, your cropped cardigan looks very nice. Is it your own design? Then you better write the pattern down.
ReplyDeleteMimi, I love the cropped cardigan! Its very pretty! I think its age appropriate for just about anyone. I could easy see myself or my younger sister wearing something like that.
