Crochet Cropped Pullover Cardigan

It has been windy and a little cold here these past few days and nights. I took out this cardigan in my craft closet and decided to wear it. Instead of feeling good about myself having designed and made this, I felt a bit sad.
I realized I have finished this almost a year ago and then...

Anyways, I like wearing this. I think its trendy, but appropriate for my age...anybody disagree?

Now for a WIP report. I found out about this shawl on Ravelry. It looks simple, yet sweet. I decided to make one for myself ;)
I think gold color (along with silver) are some of the trendy colors this year. I still have 4 more balls of Cannon MB859 to make the shawl. This is what I have after finishing one ball.

  1. I love your cropped pullover cardigan! Age appropriate yes, layering is "in" and it looks great! Also love the color for your newest WIP shawl, very nice!

  2. I think it is very appropriate, too; the way you have it layered looks very nice. And I like the progress on your shawl, too. I just dug out a spiderweb one I almost had done. (I haven't started trying to finish it, but...) :P

  3. Mimi, your cropped cardigan looks very nice. Is it your own design? Then you better write the pattern down.
