Black Tunic
As of last night, the little black dress WIP, is now a black tunic. I have already used about 7 1/2 balls of thread. I think I need 1 or 1 1/2 more ball of Cannon thread before I can finish it off as a dress.
As you can see, there's a bit of see-thru effect in this tunic...just have to wear black underneath.

WOW! Gorgeous Mimi. I love the see-thru effects. I called it ventilating.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lily! I like the see-thru at the waist section, however, at the front it looks a bit more daring, since my pants is low waist. however, if worn with a slip, or leggings, its ok for me.
ReplyDeleteIt is looking great!
ReplyDeleteIt is lovely as expected. I really love the see-through effect.
ReplyDeleteWonderful!
ReplyDeleteIt is looking fabulous, Mimi! Is the you modeling? You look like you're 18 years old. I too would be afraid to see through on the front part... But as a dress you would be wearing a slip, probably; anyway...
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous! You would wear a full slip under it anyway or could always add a lining to the bottom and wear a cami for the top.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much ladies, for your generous comments ;)
ReplyDeleteTina, that's too young, but thanks...hehe...at least I know I look younger at the back view.
